A Bus Stop Infograph That Emphesizes the Importance of Unions in Manitoba Communities
For over 60 years, the NDP has stood as the working class party of Canada, leading the way for public
healthcare, childcare, disability supports, and unions.
The challenge of this project was to convey a message to the
public about the significant changes made by the NDP investing in the
Manitoba working class.
The graphic utilizes a grid structure to depict the letters NDP as building within the city of Winnipeg, and
workers performing various jobs to the forms. The rivers merging represent the our incredible hydro electric
capabilites, and the flowers in the banner represent the indiginous
communities of Manitoba and their roll in the culture and community. The line outside the hospital is a
message about our still-improving healthcare, while the characters in the park represent our parks and
visibility for the disabled community
The type at the top and bottom of the image give more information about specific unions and their roles.
